FAQ

What material should I make my stairs from?
Both Timber and Steel make excellent structural components for stairs. Generally timber is used for tread material as it is less noisy when walked on and more aesthetically pleasing than steel. Steel stairs are usually more expensive than timber, as is steel balustrading.

How much does a staircase cost?
This is a question which is asked frequently and is very difficult to answer. Stairs generally range from around $1,500 to $20,000 including installation with the average stair being around $3,000 - $5,000. Supply only stairs start at around $700 ex factory. For an accurate price of your staircase requirements we can come to site, or you can visit our showroom, post, fax or email plans.

How long until I get my stairs after ordering?
The answer to this question depends on the style of stair, however as a rule, between 2 and 4 weeks from date of final measure and deposit. Geometric stairs will take an additional 1 - 3 weeks.
